Hi Rabea Kruegel and everyone

So I filed for my mom’s I130 and 1485 and got the biometrics appointment letter in mail today on January 16 but the biometrics date was of January 14 which is already passed. I called the USCIS call center to reschedule the biometrics appointment and they said that you’ll receive the call from 2 officers in 30 days and you have to prove a good reason to them to reschedule the biometrics appointment. I was reading about it and m worried if they don’t abandon or reject the petition . What should i do now? Please help. TIA
