Question about 221g after IR1 interview

I have heard alot about how helpful this group is for the the applicants of immigrant visa.
I have a question please if you can kindly help.
My husband had his interview yesterday for IR1 category at Islamabad embassy. Everything went really good but at the end of the interview he was given 221g. They asked to submit joint sponsor's W2 or IRS tax transcript and returned the passport.
I have submitted both the documents on the ceac portal yesterday night only.
I wanted to ask if we have to intimate them about the submission or anything? And how long wil it take for them to review the documents and ask to submit the passport ? It is nota very big objection, is it ?

This is an annoying 221g and could have easily been avoided 🙁
If the new documents show “submitted” in CEAC, then the embassy has received a notification and will put your case back in the queue for review. This typically takes 60-90 days, sometimes it’s faster than that. Your husband will receive an email to submit his passport once review has been concluded.
